环保布护垫

自从用了本地制的布护垫，我再接再厉的和同事合购了一堆。
这次是台湾品牌圣诞婆婆的。
听说她的布护垫好用，就买了一些。看照片就知道。这次还有优惠，买10片轻巧型布护垫还送一个舒适型护垫很家事皂。

家事皂给了同事所以不知道效果怎样。
护垫的话，我真的要说……好好穿哦！
我穿过mama patch的，感觉那个会比较厚。圣诞婆婆的会比较薄，上面一层纱布，感觉也很清爽。

我都是洗澡时用沐浴乳随便搓一搓就很干净了，不会难洗。洗了也容易干。
要说唯一的缺点大概是那层纱布洗了比较容易起毛。不过没影响到舒适感，也没有想象中那么容易破。我用了几个月，除了一点点起毛，其他的看起来都还很新。

以上都是个人的观点哦！

用了布护垫真的会对布棉棉跃跃欲试。不过那也许要等到明年了吧？

Some cute stuff from Daiso~

I bought some cute stuff in Daiso today.
These small little things gave me some shopping satisfaction :) ya right, I am a shopaholic.
I bought a pink soap container, as I always wanted to get some handmade soap to try on but I do not have a proper soap tray. :) This one look sweet and nice.
A pink container to store some sweets & candies in my office.
And a cotton label. The pattern is kind of cute. It will be used on my handmade product later. 

勇气娃娃 - The courage doll

This is my brave doll.
I carry him with me all the while.
He is like a little companion to me because i don't like to be alone.
I got him from Watson, but I still preferred to have a handmade doll which are more unique looking :)

yaya.. I know I am greedy.. never satisfied with what I am having now :P

Handmade maniac

Yes, I am crazy about handmade recently :)
That's why you see a bunch of local handmade talents' links on my blog.

All those handmade handphone pounch, tote bags, doll etc are so special and unique and I quickly fall in love with it. The fabrics they used are so so nice, and made me feel good by just looking at them :P So I decided to make that as my next hobby.

Sewing is never a new thing to me as my mom used to do a lot of sewing when I were young. So I believe I can do it because I have such a good 'sifu'. However, I can't start any handmade projects right now because my mom doesn't allow as I still in preg :(

So I decided to do some fabrics collections first, because they look so tempting.

By looking at those fabrics brighten up my day. I like the look and feel of those Japanese Linen Cotton :) It's just so zakka.
I can't wait to make something out from them :)

Handmade mobile hanger

The nicely sew handmade mobile hanger I found from Keller Homemade.

It comes with a special thank you note with my name on it :)

That's one of the reason why I like those handmade product, it has the personal touch.

I like her fabric book mark too, but the design that i preferred already sold out. Is alright, I'll wait for next time then :)

如何清洗Coach包包？

我手上有三个Coach包包。一个是网购的，是布面的。虽然是过时的款式但是我很喜欢。乘着老公出差美国，在美国买Coach包包便宜得让人咋舌。比在网上找人代购至少便宜一半价钱耶！不买怎么对得起自己。哈哈。硬是拗老公带几个回来。他就买了一个wristlet和手提袋回来咯！

手提袋是真牛皮。所以我本身是没什么大保养，天天提去公司半年多了，外表还是美美的。没什么差别。

反而是wristlet，金色于黑色的布料表面，被我天天带出去吃午餐。已经脏了……虽然不是脏得很明显，只是有一些脏脏的水印，而且摸起来像是有一层油油的感觉……我有一点洁癖，以前用包包总是爱洗，手洗或丢进洗衣机。去旅游回来，随身带的包包一定要洗过才收起来。实在受不了拿在手上包包油油脏脏的。所以我已经烦恼很久到底要怎样清洗我的wristlet。在网上爬了文，基本上有几种洗法：
1。这个有影片。去youtube找，那女的用清洁汽车坐垫的清洁剂，厚厚的喷一层在包包上，然后用布大力擦拭。看起来效果不错。不过我本身不太喜欢这样的化学物品，wristlet是手拿的，会不会有残留的清洁剂啊？我那着去吃饭，会不会忘了洗手不小心把清洁剂吃下去……
2。有人把包包直接丢洗衣机。我没证实过。不过这样应该会坏掉吧？
3。用洗碗精手洗。
我还听其他mm说金色的洗了会掉色。恐怖。虽然在美国买的不会太贵，但是我还是很珍惜我的包包耶……

我用的方法是第三个。

我先准备一个不要的塑胶碗，挤一点洗碗精，用水稀释，然后再找一个不要的软毛牙刷。
用牙刷蘸稀释的洗碗精水，轻轻地刷在包包的布料表层。再用水冲掉。
Coach的包包有皮革的部份要小心照顾，怕是吸了水皮革坏去。如果碰到水我就马上抹干。
里面的衬布我拖出来，用湿布抹干净。
然后拿去晾干。
我没有让包包晒太阳哦！只是放在荫凉处晾干。

效果很好，除了有些地方没刷好之外（布料湿了颜色比较深，看不到有没有脏），其他的我都很满意，有洗到的赃表面都干净了。有“新包包”的感觉。
最重要的是，包包再没有油油的触感咯！

试验成功。

Gift for my friend

Few months ago I read a book title: 29 Gifts: How a Month of Giving Can Change Your Life. By Cami Walker. I read the Chinese translated version.

I like the idea of giving a gift to a person every day. He/she can be a friend, a stranger, family members it doesn’t matter. These practices will help to make ourselves giving more, rather than receive more.

That day when I was organizing my drawer, I found this book , and I think of my friend. Who is like to read on nice inspire quote. So I decided to give out this little book as a gift to my friend. Hope she likes it.

My Experience with Cloth Liners

Have you ever heard about cloth pads? What is your first impression about cloth pads?

I first came across with cloth pads when I was surfing for info about cloth diapers that I am planning to use on my baby and I found this idea of replacing disposable pads with cloth pads. As I always have the concern of where and how the disposable pads going to dispose since there are plastic covers at the back and is very environmental unfriendly.

So I decided to give it a try.... on the cloth liners first as I can't use the pads until I deliver :P

The pads is nicely packed.

I have to admit besides the environmental friendly thingy, I bought the liners based on the nice outlook too. Those pads look really attractive don't they?

I bought in pairs. Those are not water resistance so they can only be used during normal days.

My experiance with the cloth liner:
First, it is very comfortable, because it is cloth and similar material with your panty. You wouldn't notice it much after wearing for sometimes.
The absorbance is ok, as I am wearing it during normal days, it is just normal discharge.
It will stay still on your panty you don't have to worry it will move around.

However, it is of course thicker than normal disaposable panty liner. :) Not much problem for me as long as it is cotton and breathable.

Do wear a fitting panty if you are wearing the cloth pads :)

So far I am quite satisfied with it, and I will sure try the cloth pads next time when I have the chance.
